The author
Hélène Peruzzaro is a French photographer living between Paris and Barcelona. She has been taking photos since the age of twelve, when her father gave her her first analogue camera: a Nikon FE. Growing up in the middle of the southwestern countryside of France, she was inspired by the varied landscapes of her native country as well as the rural environment in which she grew up. After graduating from Fine Arts School and a year traveling through Spain, she headed to Paris to pursue cinematographic studies, at which point she started to integrate into the indie music scene. Since then she has collaborated as a photographer for several French and international magazines, as well as music labels – shooting live acts and portraits of bands.
